You know for weeks, I have been hearing about this great 'Eclipse," that was coming. Well, I mean, I don't like to be a Debbie Downer, but a long time ago, I watched one of these things and it "just didn't do it for me."
Well, after watching the people around the country turn out for this thing, I realized that perhaps, "I was just a weird kid?"
As I was watching this thing on Fox today, I saw thousands of people gathering all around the country at various cities and sights, and I was shocked.
You know, I expected that maybe in each city there might be little groups which met, but I never would have imagined the "turn out," that I saw today.
Hundreds of thousands of people from all over the world being interviewed and sharing how they had traveled miles and miles crossing land and sea to share in an experience or phenomenon which happens just every few decades or so. Just so they can stand on a hill side in order to put on some paper and plastic glasses, most likely made from China in order to watch the "Moon," momentarily travel in front of the "Sun" for a couple of minutes.
Well, like I said, I must be a little weird or something, but for the last month or so, every time that someone has mentioned the "Coming Eclipse," my mind has always gone to a picture from some pictures that were recently released by NASA, concerning the "Heavens."
Nevertheless, when I was informed that billions and billions of dollars have been spent, that some individuals had to reserve Hotel rooms for years ahead, when I saw the crowds and the responses, well I just had to ask God a few questions today.
I said, "God, what is wrong with me?"
"How come I don't get excited as all of these people seem to be?"
I recall one interviewer and he had just interviewed a number of children and then later he made a statement, he said, "I don't think that I have interviewed one child who wasn't totally awe struck or elated at having just under gone the experience of the sky darkening and the visual Eclipse."
Well, that really pulled on my heart strings, I said, "God what is wrong with me?"
You see, in college, I had a Geology class, as well as a Physical Anthropology class where I learned about Plate Tectonics, the Earth's crust, and other phenomenon such as Eclipses and all, and I loved it. Nonetheless, when I experienced that Eclipse which was so long ago, it was like "nothing."
I remember it well, though this might have been another time, as we did two memorable things during their visit to the 'big city."
From Google, I learned today that it happened in the sixties, but it was a total Eclipse. .
Well, we had some cousins come up to Detroit from a small rural town in Southern Indiana. Well, my mother had a "Town and Country" Station Wagon made by Ford. It was one of the bigger Station Wagons with the Wood Paneling that ran along both sides of the car.
I always thought that that made it really cool looking.
Anyway, we piled the kids into the car which would have been myself, my three brothers, and my two cousins, into the Station Wagon, as well as my Mother and I think one of my Aunts. Actually, I'm not sure my Aunts came along, but my Mother loved an adventure.
So, off to the "big city," we went. You see, although we lived in Detroit, we were like maybe eight miles from the downtown area, and seldom had reason to visit. I mean, it wasn't until the eighties, I believe when Detroit went through a "Renaissance," and the downtown area became a really prosperous Party town from a number of developers who rebuilt the city.
I remember in a Sociology class in school where a "Liberal Professor," explained that what happens in such cities as ours is that the white people all leave the cities to move into the suburbs, thereby leaving the decaying cities to the black population. Then once, the cities become so terrible that the "blacks," all move out leaving the downtown areas, then the rich white dudes, go back into the "Downtowns," buy them dirt cheap and rebuild them at such a cost that no "Black Person," can ever afford them.
Well, there was some truth to what he was saying, but I never believed that it was a concerted effort on the part of the "white people."
You see, I always believed that it was just a part of life where the wealthy are always going to take advantage of every opportunity to profit off the blood sweat and tears of those who have gone before them.
And I have always believed, as well, that every individual has a right to prosper themselves in any way that they see fit. Thereby when "moving to the suburbs, with a backyard, a nice home, less possibility of crime and other such benefits were made possible by those same builders and investors who could afford to revitalize a downtown, then it wasn't so much a racial ideology, but more an opportunity to better one self and have the developers use both Black and white to use for their purposes.
Is it any different today by the many minority church go-ers, who have sat under "Prosperity Teaching," and then ten years later, abandon all their once close neighbors to move in next door to Creflo, T.D. Jakes, or Fred Price?
No, when you prosper you normally move to a bigger and better neighborhood.
It's called a fact of Life.
Therefore, does it mean you wish to oppress all of your former neighbors?
Absolutely not!
You know, it's funny, but myself having grown up where this great conspiracy supposedly happened, I can't recall one meeting that was called in order to divulge to my parents the plan that us whites had in order to enslave the black man, so thereby one day we can purchase those downtown dwellings in order to have a Renaissance in the city, that will bring back to us billions of dollars.
Geesh, is "life," funny.
Furthermore, if my parents were all a part of this great conspiracy they must have screwed me too, cause I never saw a cent of this great windfall, us "whites," were suppose to receive???
So, anyway we all piled into the Station Wagon, and headed toward downtown. Somewhere they were having a "Watch Party," where all kinds of people were meeting in order to clearly see the event.
As I said, we made it an entire day of the thing because we wanted to show our cousins from a small rural town in Indiana some of the city's highlights. I believe that this was the same visit where we showed them the Ambassador Bridge, the Sky Scrapers of the city, and then toward the night we went to a place where I suggested which was "Plum Street."
You see, "Plum Street," was the "Haight Asbury" of Detroit. On Plum Street, there were all of these little "smoke shops," and 'Flea market," type stalls of crafts and what have you, (I forget most of it) but there were "Hippies," big Hippies, little Hippies, Black Hippies, white Hippies, Hippie Hippies, you name it and there was a Hippie, just as live and real as any Hippie, you have ever seen South of Bloomington or Indianapolis.
It made me "Proud."
I don't know, maybe that was why the "Eclipse," was such a let down?
I just wanted to go to Plum Street, when the whole thing was over.
I told you, I must have been one weird kid?
Nevertheless, to make a long story short, even though they stated something like, "This will be a one time event, the next time a Total Eclipse is going to happen will be fifty years from now," it still just didn't do anything for me?
When I walked away, it was like "wow, big deal, the moon travels in front of the sun for a few minutes and it becomes dark."
So, fast forward fifty or more years and for the last few months I keep hearing about this coming "Eclipse." Nevertheless, not once in the past few months has my mind traveled back to where I saw my first one.
No, every time that I have heard someone mention the fact, my mind has gone back to some NASA Photos, released a few months back.
I believe they were titled "The latest pictures of the Universe," and they were from the newest NASA Space Telescope.
One of them just blew me away. It was so incredible. It was the Universe.
And I also had a teacher in College who had challenged my Christianity in front of the whole class because the first thing he asked as the semester started was "Who in here is a Christian?"
You see, he had married a Christian wife and this guy hated Christians with a Passion. Well, I spent the whole year studying Creation Books on Creation by Christian Scientists,
If any one actually reads these they will find that the arguments for a Creator are so much more provable scientifically than any suppositions which say otherwise. Most every thing that is taught are theories, and not proven arguments which support Evolution. This is all they are, they are not proven facts, as most professors wish for you to believe.
Nevertheless, to see these pictures which are so incredible to me, far surpasses all of the "Eclipses," that I could ever see in one lifetime.
Please show them to your children if any feel cheated by not being able to see the full Eclipse.
In a few of the pictures they will tell you that this star is so many billions of years old, and this one is millions of light years older than this one, but if you can just have an inkling of the "wonder," of God, you begin to understand that God didn't create the Universe with millions of Carpenter angels, he didn't create the Universe with a hundred million brick layers or plumbers.
Picture Link: https://duckduckgo.com/?q=latest+pictures+of+the+universe&atb=v420-1&ia=web
No, God said, Let there be....and There it be....
You see, in God there is no time, he didn't start building a star and then after it was finally finished he built a second star, and so on.
No, God just "thought," and the "thought" took on life and was created.
So, when I see one of those pictures of the Universe, I think, "Man. Oh man, God just thought, and there it is right in front of me, and then because of His great mercy, He is letting me look at His creation through a photograph of his 'Thought Print.'"
And then when I read His scriptures which are the "Word of God," also revealed to me, I can only reply, "Wow, that does it for me!
"I am a Believer!"
And so reflecting on this as I witnessed the masses of people who were cheering and gathering together to come see this great event, I wondered, "Gee, I wonder how many have seen those latest pictures of the Universe?"
I loved the commentary as well, about how this event has brought so many people together, which I have no doubt it has. Nevertheless, at the same time, I sort of pictured some graphic language which the Bible uses to describe the many idol worshippers mentioned in the Bible.
They would meet on hill sides or at Shrines devoted to the Moon, the Sun and the the Stars, or Nature or wooden Idols, and even though Israel always had a Temple for them to worship at, many could only be found in the High Places.
And I am not saying that anyone sinned or that it was an evil thing to come together to watch a once in a lifetime event. No, what I am saying is that it would be much more of a spectacular event, if you looked at it from the perspective that this was a part of Creation that God has allowed us to witness. It is just another marvel in which His glory is displayed for the benefit of His Creation.
You see, I have studied the Bible for years, and when I was first learning about worship and Praise there was a class that I remember attending called, "The Life in the Spirit."
This was a class that was popular in the Catholic Charismatic Churches where people learned about the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and then were prayed for to receive the gift of tongues. The gift of tongues was what the first century Christians all received and that was promised by Jesus to all believers.
For the first ten years of the church, it was all made up of Jewish Converts. Later, after Peter preached and converted a Gentile, (non Jewish) the church in Rome became very upset with Peter.
How could you preach a Jewish Savior to Gentiles? They asked. You see, many Jews despised the Gentiles and all thought that Jesus who had proved Himself to be the Messiah could never imagine a non Jewish Church.
Yet, this was God's plan from the beginning. It was to redeem man from when Adam sold out the authority which God gave man and then man turned over to Satan, as he fell to Satan's deceptions and lies.
You see, Jesus won that authority back for man and He established a CHURCH, in order to properly wield that Power again.
So, when Peter explained to the apostles in Jerusalem how the Gentiles had received the evidence of "speaking in tongues," through the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, they then recognized that God had also included "Salvation," for "Yes," even the Gentiles.
Again, as Peter explained to his brethren how the Holy Ghost had fallen on the Gentiles, as he preached to them, how they to experienced the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, then all of Jerusalem and the known church recognized that God had also brought Salvation to all mankind and not just to the Jews.
Please see entire chapter of Acts 10, for even a better understanding.
Acts 10:34-48 New King James Version
34 Then Peter opened his mouth and said: "In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. 35 But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him. 36 The word which God sent to the children of Israel, preaching peace through Jesus Christ-He is Lord of all- 37 that word you know, which was proclaimed throughout all Judea, and began from Galilee after the baptism which John preached: 38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. 39 And we are witnesses of all things which He did both in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem, whom they killed by hanging on a tree. 40 Him God raised up on the third day, and showed Him openly, 41 not to all the people, but to witnesses chosen before by God, even to us who ate and drank with Him after He arose from the dead. 42 And He commanded us to preach to the people, and to testify that it is He who was ordained by God to be Judge of the living and the dead. 43 To Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins."
44 While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who heard the word. 45 And those of the circumcision who believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also. 46 For they heard them speak with tongues and magnify God.
Then Peter answered, 47 "Can anyone forbid water, that these should not be baptized who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?" 48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then they asked him to stay a few days.
Sorry, I got off on a rabbit's trail.
My Point however, was that in that class many years ago, they used to teach how that in every man there is an innate desire to worship God.
So, over the years, I have come to respect this teaching. It is proven every where you go.
To some, it is money, to others it is Power, to others it can be a lot of things, nevertheless, in every man you will see some aspect where his soul cries out to "Worship."
Well, that is because, I believe, is an attribute which God put in man.
it is a hunger in man.
Unfortunately for a whole lot of people they will never find the purpose for which God put that in man. You see, it was so that you would one day come back to the "Worship," of your one and only "Creator."
You see, God is a marvelous and wonderful God who made His creation out of laws and principles which only serve the purposes of Good. One day, it will all come together and revealed to us, and when we are living for Eternity in Christ this "2024 Eclipse," will simply be as a comma in the whole scheme of things.
In Psalm Eight, King David expresses a similar meditation on the Glory of God.
King David was known as a "Man after God's own heart."
1 Samuel 13:13-14 New Living Translation
13 “How foolish!” Samuel exclaimed. “You have not kept the command the Lord your God gave you. Had you kept it, the Lord would have established your kingdom over Israel forever. 14 But now your kingdom must end, for the Lord has sought out a man after his own heart. The Lord has already appointed him to be the leader of his people, because you have not kept the Lord’s command.”
Psalm 8 New Living Translation
(For the choir director: A psalm of David, to be accompanied by a stringed instrument.)
1 O Lord, our Lord, your majestic name fills the earth!
Your glory is higher than the heavens.
2 You have taught children and infants
to tell of your strength,
silencing your enemies
and all who oppose you.
3 When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers-
the moon and the stars you set in place-
4 what are mere mortals that you should think about them,
human beings that you should care for them?
5 Yet you made them only a little lower than God
and crowned them with glory and honor.
6 You gave them charge of everything you made,
putting all things under their authority-
7 the flocks and the herds
and all the wild animals,
8 the birds in the sky, the fish in the sea,
and everything that swims the ocean currents.
9 O Lord, our Lord, your majestic name fills the earth!
He tells of the marvelous nature of God and his glory, but then afterward he ends it with an even greater revelation than what I have expressed above concerning God's majesty.
He asks a question, "What is man, O God, that you would be even "mindful" of such lowly creatures as us?" (My Paraphrase)
In other words, he is expressing what I was trying to say through those "latest pictures of the Universe," but then what he is really trying to say:
"Oh God, as marvelous and majestic as the Universe which you created is, as wondrous as a total Eclipse of the Sun is, by you making man as a being in the image of you, then that must mean that we as your creation are even greater than all of the stars, the galaxies, the wonders of the heavens even are?" (my paraphrase)
When the Pharisees couldn't understand the close relationship which Jesus had with the Father, they tried to trip him up a thousand different ways.
So, in John Chapter Ten, we have an account of where they accuse the Master of blasphemy. You see, these were the kinds of "sins," that could get you sentenced to death or who knows?
Perhaps, it could cause you to be rejected from a political Office you were hoping to run for?
But they say to Jesus, "Why you are trying to make yourself out to be God."
That's Blasphemy!
"You are claiming to be the Messiah!"
Nonetheless, Jesus counters them by using the "Word of God."
He tells them, "Well, don't your own sacred writings record God as addressing a few of the Elders as "little gods?"
And then he says, "Why, I am not even claiming to be God, but merely the Son of God."
"OHHHHHHH if you want to upset a few religious Pharisees, just try to explain to them that you are "just," a son of God."
John 10:22-42 NLT
22 It was now winter, and Jesus was in Jerusalem at the time of Hanukkah, the Festival of Dedication. 23 He was in the Temple, walking through the section known as Solomon's Colonnade. 24 The people surrounded him and asked, "How long are you going to keep us in suspense? If you are the Messiah, tell us plainly."
25 Jesus replied, "I have already told you, and you don't believe me. The proof is the work I do in my Father's name. 26 But you don't believe me because you are not my sheep. 27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me, 29 for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else. No one can snatch them from the Father's hand. 30 The Father and I are one."
31 Once again the people picked up stones to kill him. 32 Jesus said, "At my Father's direction I have done many good works. For which one are you going to stone me?"
33 They replied, "We're stoning you not for any good work, but for blasphemy! You, a mere man, claim to be God."
34 Jesus replied, "It is written in your own Scriptures that God said to certain leaders of the people, 'I say, you are gods!' 35 And you know that the Scriptures cannot be altered. So if those people who received God's message were called 'gods,' 36 why do you call it blasphemy when I say, 'I am the Son of God'? After all, the Father set me apart and sent me into the world. 37 Don't believe me unless I carry out my Father's work. 38 But if I do his work, believe in the evidence of the miraculous works I have done, even if you don't believe me. Then you will know and understand that the Father is in me, and I am in the Father."
39 Once again they tried to arrest him, but he got away and left them. 40 He went beyond the Jordan River near the place where John was first baptizing and stayed there awhile. 41 And many followed him. "John didn't perform miraculous signs," they remarked to one another, "but everything he said about this man has come true." 42 And many who were there believed in Jesus.
Nonetheless, my point is that you can have an "Eclipse," with God every day, if you give your lives to Christ.
Also, you don't need to travel untold miles, rent a Hotel room five years in the future, spend your good money on little Chinese junk, or to buy fancy luggage, pay twenty dollars for a fast food burger or even have to go through that ridiculous ordeal of "Customs."
Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who thirst, and I will give you living water, Freely without cost....
John 7:37-47 New King James Version
The Promise of the Holy Spirit
37 On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. 38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water." 39 But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
Who Is He?
40 Therefore many from the crowd, when they heard this saying, said, "Truly this is the Prophet." 41 Others said, "This is the Christ."
But some said, "Will the Christ come out of Galilee? 42 Has not the Scripture said that the Christ comes from the seed of David and from the town of Bethlehem, where David was?" 43 So there was a division among the people because of Him. 44 Now some of them wanted to take Him, but no one laid hands on Him.
Rejected by the Authorities
45 Then the officers came to the chief priests and Pharisees, who said to them, "Why have you not brought Him?"
46 The officers answered, "No man ever spoke like this Man!"
47 Then the Pharisees answered them, "Are you also deceived?
Lastly, let me add this:
Sometimes we wish God to give us direction which He sometimes does. Other times, however, God may just plant a "seed," in your heart. And although you know what to do, you don't want to do it because you are not sure.
Well, God will not give you a GPS system to know every decision. No, sometimes he just wants YOU to act on "Faith."
This is because of the scripture that God gave in Holy Writ:
Hebrews 11:6 New King James Version
6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
And also this scripture:
Romans 14:23 New King James Version
23 But he who doubts is condemned if he eats, because he does not eat from faith; for whatever is not from faith is sin.
As well as this statement from James:
James 4:17 New King James Version
17 Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.
Could I be any plainer in answering your question?

Psalm 139 New Living Translation
Psalm 139
(For the choir director: A psalm of David.)
1 O Lord, you have examined my heart
and know everything about me.
2 You know when I sit down or stand up.
You know my thoughts even when I’m far away.
3 You see me when I travel
and when I rest at home.
You know everything I do.
4 You know what I am going to say
even before I say it, Lord.
5 You go before me and follow me.
You place your hand of blessing on my head.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too great for me to understand!
7 I can never escape from your Spirit!
I can never get away from your presence!
8 If I go up to heaven, you are there;
if I go down to the grave, you are there.
9 If I ride the wings of the morning,
if I dwell by the farthest oceans,
10 even there your hand will guide me,
and your strength will support me.
11 I could ask the darkness to hide me
and the light around me to become night—
12 but even in darkness I cannot hide from you.
To you the night shines as bright as day.
Darkness and light are the same to you.
13 You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body
and knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!
Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.
15 You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion,
as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.
16 You saw me before I was born.
Every day of my life was recorded in your book.
Every moment was laid out
before a single day had passed.
17 How precious are your thoughts about me, O God.
They cannot be numbered!
18 I can’t even count them;
they outnumber the grains of sand!
And when I wake up,
you are still with me!
19 O God, if only you would destroy the wicked!
Get out of my life, you murderers!
20 They blaspheme you;
your enemies misuse your name.
21 O Lord, shouldn’t I hate those who hate you?
Shouldn’t I despise those who oppose you?
22 Yes, I hate them with total hatred,
for your enemies are my enemies.
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
24 Point out anything in me that offends you,
and lead me along the path of everlasting life.
Psalm 51 New Living Translation
For the choir director: A psalm of David, regarding the time Nathan the prophet came to him after David had committed adultery with Bathsheba.
1 Have mercy on me, O God,
because of your unfailing love.
Because of your great compassion,
blot out the stain of my sins.
2 Wash me clean from my guilt.
Purify me from my sin.
3 For I recognize my rebellion;
it haunts me day and night.
4 Against you, and you alone, have I sinned;
I have done what is evil in your sight.
You will be proved right in what you say,
and your judgment against me is just.
5 For I was born a sinner—
yes, from the moment my mother conceived me.
6 But you desire honesty from the womb,
teaching me wisdom even there.
7 Purify me from my sins, and I will be clean;
wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.
8 Oh, give me back my joy again;
you have broken me—
now let me rejoice.
9 Don’t keep looking at my sins.
Remove the stain of my guilt.
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God.
Renew a loyal spirit within me.
11 Do not banish me from your presence,
and don’t take your Holy Spirit from me.
12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation,
and make me willing to obey you.
13 Then I will teach your ways to rebels,
and they will return to you.
14 Forgive me for shedding blood, O God who saves;
then I will joyfully sing of your forgiveness.
15 Unseal my lips, O Lord,
that my mouth may praise you.
16 You do not desire a sacrifice, or I would offer one.
You do not want a burnt offering.
17 The sacrifice you desire is a broken spirit.
You will not reject a broken and repentant heart, O God.
18 Look with favor on Zion and help her;
rebuild the walls of Jerusalem.
19 Then you will be pleased with sacrifices offered in the right spirit—
with burnt offerings and whole burnt offerings.
Then bulls will again be sacrificed on your altar.

Post Script:
You know, today was the day that we learned O.J. Simpson had passed away. Traditionally, Christians believe that if you end up eternally "Damned" that your soul, the real you, will go through something similar as being chained to a rock for all of Eternity. You will be tormented by demons, thrown in a lake of fire, the Bible is quite explicite. You will forever be damned to a torture of everlasting fire constantly burning at your body. Nonetheless, through my many years of walking in God, I have come to the conclusion that the worst terror in hell is that you will be alone for Eternity, as well. You won't have family, you wont have friends, there will be no fellowship. No buddy's at the bar, but damned to suffer forever into Eternity.
Do you know how long Eternity is?
It's about a hundred million more times than what you have served on Earth, and even a little more if my math is correct.
I'm not kidding, I am in all seriousness.
I have no idea if Mr. Simpson made peace with God. When I first heard the news, I just took it sort of in stride. Well, then I heard a Fox Reporter who covered the crime scene and he spelled out such a horrendous nightmare of what those victims must have gone through that I didn't dismiss it so lightly. Apparently, Mr. Simpson, if he was guilty brutally murdered those individuals much like the Terrorists from October Seventh.
You see, if God was not a Holy God, if God was not a God of Justice, murderers would be spared as the court system seemed to have spared Mr. Simpson. Nonetheless, God is a Holy God and that is why Hell exists in the here and the now. It is no illusion, it is plainly taught throughout the Holy Bible.
Nevertheless, as I was thinking on these things today, taking all of the "feedback" into account from numerous parties, a new reality took hold of my consciousness. I realized that most probably had O.J. Simpson, if he was a murderer gone to prison for the actual crimes, then I believe that he might have found a repentance through those many years in prison.
Next, I thought of the crime ridden society of our present day. You see, by the far left wanting to do away with the Police and law enforcement, by our court systems wishing to not prosecute criminals, what we are doing is creating a society of criminals who all believe that they can put one over on God. They have no understanding that "You are not putting anything over on God," as I can attest.
God knows it all!
But you see, this is what our court system has done apparently with Mr. Simpson.
He thought that in life, you need not face your sins and your mistakes, thereby he had an attitude such as I'll get by, so long as I don't have to face my mistakes and sins.
I heard that just two months ago, he was interviewed for having gone through the reality of serious Cancer. Nonetheless, you can hear it in his voice, "Oh, I am alright, I'll be back on the golf course in just a short time."
You see, I heard, that as he would make appearances in Vegas, a hundred people would want to have "selfies," or to greet the man, as if he accomplished some great and marvelous deed in this life?
I mean, how sick is that?
Nevertheless, this is where our country is presently when it comes to "Spirituality?"
It was prophesied about many years ago.
20 What sorrow for those who say
that evil is good and good is evil,
that dark is light and light is dark,
that bitter is sweet and sweet is bitter.
21 What sorrow for those who are wise in their own eyes
and think themselves so clever.
Well, as I stated, I don't know if the man made peace with God for his "sins," but I don't believe that I discerned it in his last encounter with the Press.
Tonight, there was a new story breaking of some kid who emptied a round of gun fire from an automatic toward a number of police officers.
This is just a disciple of what our society has produced since the courts have become so liberal and leftist.
Well, this is for the parents, unless you stop this idiotic "ideal," that we don't need police officers or courts, your children are going to burn in HELL.
Is that better, than to have them locked up as a teenager trying to steal a car, or to mug some innocent Elderly on the street?
What! You would rather have them own the O.J. Simpson "pride of Life, believing that he had put one over on God?
God bless you then, because one day you too, will be standing before God giving account for your children.
Yes, you and all the lawmakers who will be standing right beside you!
Do you understand that these children of this generation will be lost forever, unless we change society?
Was this the purpose of you wishing to have children, that they can be lost forever?
God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow heaven exists, Hell exists, they do not change or reform because of a more lenient society.
Hebrews 13:7-9 New Living Translation
7 Remember your leaders who taught you the word of God. Think of all the good that has come from their lives, and follow the example of their faith.
8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. 9 So do not be attracted by strange, new ideas. Your strength comes from God’s grace...
