Commentary on 1 Samuel 7-8 (Israel Asks for a King) |
The passages where the Israelites ask Samuel for a king are primarily found in 1 Samuel 8. This chapter details the Israelites' request for a king, Samuel's warning about the implications of having a king, and God's eventual instruction to Samuel to grant their request.
Specifically, the verses describing the request are:
1 Samuel 8:4-5:.
"Then all the elders of Israel gathered together and came to Samuel at Ramah. They said to him, 'You are old, and your sons do not follow your ways; now appoint a king to lead us, such as all the other nations have.'"
1 Samuel 8:19-20:.
"But the people refused to listen to Samuel. 'No!' they said. 'We want a king over us. Then we will be like all the other nations, with a king to lead us and to go out before us and fight our battles.'"
These verses highlight the Israelites' desire for a king like other nations and their rejection of Samuel's leadership and, implicitly, God's leadership.

Could I tell you (the church) one of the biggest misconceptions in the modern day Charismatic Streams of the American church?
Okay, but first I need all of you to promise me that you are not going to get mad at me and to stone me or something.
Will you agree to this?
Yea, well I really wasn't expecting a real enthusiasm for that part of my message. Nevertheless, the "Truth," must be told.
There are many people in the modern church who are under the impression that "just because God is blessing it," then it must be "God's will."
This is the farthest thing from the truth and is borne out through the scriptures. Nevertheless, no one is going to be able to understand this untill you receive the revelation of the attributes and the nature of God.
You see, God is a "Holy God," and the thing which makes himself "holy," are the laws and commandments in which he has himself placed himself under.
You know, our theologians are famous for declaring that God can do anything, as He is "Sovereign."
Well, that's not necessarily the case.
God cannot lie.
God cannot steal. God can do no evil, for if he does then the entire universe unravels.
Can you understand what I am saying?
All things are held together through the universal laws and commandments in which God has established the universe or eternity.
The reason why there is a "law of gravity" or "a law of thermo dynamics," or any other law is because they are all under the authority of a perfect and holy God who calls all things into existence.

Laws of Thermodynamics: Statements
The laws of thermodynamics are fundamental principles governing energy transfer and transformations in physical systems. There are four laws: the zeroth law, which defines thermal equilibrium; the first law, which states energy is conserved; the second law, which introduces entropy and dictates the direction of spontaneous processes; and the third law, which relates to entropy at absolute zero.
Here's a more detailed explanation:
1. Zeroth Law:.
If two systems are separately in thermal equilibrium with a third system, they are also in thermal equilibrium with each other. This allows us to define temperature as a property that is equal when systems are in equilibrium.
2. First Law:.
Energy cannot be created or destroyed, only transformed from one form to another. It's the law of conservation of energy. In a closed system, the total energy remains constant. For example, in a chemical reaction, the total energy of the reactants and products remains the same, even if some energy is released as heat.
3. Second Law:.
In any spontaneous process, the entropy of the universe (or an isolated system) increases. Entropy is a measure of disorder or randomness within a system. This law implies that natural processes tend towards a state of greater disorder. A common example is heat transfer: heat spontaneously flows from a hotter object to a colder one, increasing the overall entropy.
4. Third Law:.
As the temperature of a perfect crystal approaches absolute zero (0 Kelvin), its entropy approaches zero. This means that a perfect crystal at absolute zero is in its most ordered state.
Above is an explanation of the "Laws of Thermodynamics," nonetheless, these laws and all others are based on the integrity of a "Holy God."
They are based on His creation thinking which causes all things to work in perfect order.
Nevertheless, if God were to lie, or to do evil then the universe would suffer the order and the integrity of every law established by a perfect God.
In other words, there would be no "integrity," in which all these laws are established upon and which upholds them. You see, all "laws," remain constant because of the unchanging nature of God which is pure integrity.
What he says, or has said, stands because of his perfection in holiness.
Do you see what I am saying?
It is like the dollar bill, you can go all over the world and buy anything, so long as you have enough dollar bills. Nevertheless, if our government were to be found phony or brought to a position where our last President was taking it, the thing would have eventually collapsed. As well, the many governments who were using our system of finances to base their economies with.
But God is not like an economy, God's word is established for ever. Therefore, if our government were to fail so would our promises considering the integrity and the strength of our money.
So, what I am saying is that if there are "Promises," found in the Holy Bible, then these are universal "Laws," given to all men, not just a few men who God seems to favor.
So, my point is that God has created a universe in which everything in it is based on laws and so long as God remains in control these laws are not about to change with the weather.
You see, even the weather is under particular laws, and when certain conditions happen then they force the weather to respond in certain ways which are predictable.
I mean, have you ever watched the weather and then heard the weather caster say something like, "Well, we have a cold front coming in from Canada, one in which has never before been recorded in history, so more than likely we can expect highs of ninety to a hundred for the upper Midwest tomorrow."
No, there are conditions or laws which are going to dictate that someone "up in the Midwest," is going to more than likely 'freeze their little butts off' when that 'cold front,' comes into the Midwest.
Do you see what I am saying?
Everything on Earth is subject to God's laws, this was how He established the world in which we live in.
Well, the same is true with the principles that are hidden in the Bible. There are "laws," written in the Bible and so long as you discern them you can use them to predict certain conditions in life or even your finances.
God, however, "is no respecter of persons."
God can favor no one person over another in His relationships with men. It would be as if a mother bore two children and she loved the one and doted all of her attention or favor on the one yet despised the other.
This happens many times in families, yet most don't recognize it. Normally, it is the first born who is favored by the father or Mother and in many cases throughout history it is even expected, nonetheless, it can be a "sin."
I mean, there are traditions in some cultures where the first born has "rights," nevertheless he should not be loved more. But that is fickle human love, and it happens.
This was even practiced in the Jewish culture, but to "Love," one person over another is in reality a sin.
You can't show or purposely love one individual over another lest it become evil.
Therefore, in the case of God, if He were to show love or to love one individual more then another, then He would be doing evil in his heart.
Nevertheless, we know that God can't do evil because he is perfect and sinless.
God knows no "sin."
In all of his ways they are perfect.
Well, because the church is very immature and kept ignorant for the most part by its leaders most can't grasp this concept which is shown throughout the Bible.
One time, I was on the street, and I happened to converse with a gentleman concerning the gospel and he had just come out of Prison. I forget how the conversation started, but soon it was established that he had become a "Christian," while in Prison. I shared my testimony and then he shared his. Well, as he was telling me how he had come to Christ, he kept mentioning the name of a well-known Evangelist who is one of the most well-known Prosperity Preachers in America.
So, as he was explaining his testimony, he kept making these references to certain "prosperity teachings," which when fully applied can be very profitable to an individual.
So, as I am listening to him, I couldn't help but to think that "this man is really on a sugar high, and eventually he is going to come crashing down" and as I have witnessed and experienced myself as a man walking out the life of a follower of Jesus, it can really be detrimental to your "Faith."
So, this man was acting as if those prosperity preachers had found some deep lost secrets of the scriptures and if you followed these men and their teachings, "You too could be just like one of them."
He shared with me how that in Prison he learned that once having received Christ and in following the "Prosperity Doctrines," you would no longer have to steal and to do crooked things in life to get ahead.
Well, this was what I had learned as a new believer. I learned that if I were to follow Jesus I would no longer have to fear "being without."
But you see this gentleman was explaining the same thing though not on the basis of having a personal savior, but of learning the "laws," of Prosperity.
No, all you had to do was to "tithe," and to give "offerings," through the Prison mail system and God would bless you with "Prosperity." Next, he began to share with me how that he was expecting to eventually have a huge ministry with a Private Jet, a hangar next to his house, and he was going to go all over the world preaching this stuff for the "glory of God."
Well, now I was probably a Christian at least twenty years, I had sat under the teachings of Dr. Hagin, Oral Roberts, Lester Sumrall. had attended numerous "Prosperity Conventions," many in Fort Worth, had operated in the gifts of the Holy Spirit for a few decades, as well, as having studied at three different Bible Schools. I had also read the Bible through a number of times, read numerous Christian publications as well as hundreds of Charismatic Books and throughout my life as a Christian had studied or participated in hundreds of various church or ministry services from numerous "Spirit Filled Churches."
But I was being talked down to, by some guy who had just got let out of Prison and in our short conversation I believe he mentioned this "Prosperity Preachers" name a dozen times and the name of Jesus maybe once or twice?
Could that be why so many new Prosperity converts get the rest of the church to hate them?
Nawwwwwww!
Well, seriously, I still felt as if I could help him and wanted to because in my life, I have experienced the pain in which you feel, when you are left alone after having placed so much hope and devotion in a man or men.
Men will fail you every time, but only God will never leave you nor forsake you. He will stick closer than any brother that you encounter in this life.
So, I began to explain about the reality of Christianity to this man, and I gave him some personal insights that I have encountered through certain "Streams," of the American church.
Well, all I can say is that I am sure that my words had a profound impact on the man because before I left him, I believe that he wanted to "Kick my ass," or "Stone me."
Perhaps, he couldn't make up his mind and that was why I was able to escape?
A few weeks ago, I was watching an online "Prosperity Convention," from Fort Worth. You know, they tell all of their stories about how each one first began "Tithing," or proving the "Laws," of Prosperity," and then they tell of how God had honored them and today most are millionaires.
Of course, most of the time they forget to tell the parts of how they each tend to "Bless," each other of the Pack. Nor do they point out the fact that many of these guys don't do a thing for a living other than to beg or borrow for offerings.
You know, they will gather an audience of hundreds and thousands and teach the "Church," how that when you bless the "Clergy," then God blesses you in return.
So, it is not uncommon for many to start out in ministry, gather a huge number of individuals who then in turn each give the man ten per cent of their increase, paycheck whatever, and soon they are on the circuits 'preaching,' the "Prosperity Message."
"Brothers and sisters, you too can be just like me, all I did was one day make a decision to "Tithe," and then after everybody gave me their ten per cent incomes in just a few short years, I am now a millionaire."
Then next week another will get up on stage to share how he needed a new Private Jet, so he "sowed," my old "puddle Jumper," airplane to brother "Big Jaws," and now today I have my own Private Lear Jet.
One time, one of these preachers got up and preached to his audiences on how he had made a decision to "give away all his major possessions," to prove to himself that he wasn't "bound," by his possessions.
So, as I am listening to his message, I realize that what he did was to give his possessions to all of his fellow "Prosperity Ministers."
The guy was in the pulpit, and I hear him tell how he gave his Jet Ski's to this minister, some Motorcycle or two to this other minister, his Classic car to so and so, and on and on it went.
Seriously though, I don't believe that this guy did it to get them back or to be repaid, but as I examined the entire fiasco it wasn't particularly noble.
Personally, I really liked this particular preacher, even over many of his fellows, but I believe that he might have accidentally fallen into a ruse set up by Satan.
I mean, if you are collecting hundreds of thousands of dollars or millions of dollars from those congregations you speak at, how are they going to respond next week, after you explain how "Things," have never had a hold on me, nonetheless, I gave everything away.
You see, one of the downsides of these ministries is that they really have very little works for the poor or the downtrodden. Many become so self absorbed in gaining their riches and trying to better themselves over their neighbor that they forget who the gospel was given to. It was given for the sake of the poor James says.
James 2:5-7 New Living Translation
5 Listen to me, dear brothers and sisters. Hasn’t God chosen the poor in this world to be rich in faith? Aren’t they the ones who will inherit the Kingdom he promised to those who love him? 6 But you dishonor the poor! Isn’t it the rich who oppress you and drag you into court? 7 Aren’t they the ones who slander Jesus Christ, whose noble name you bear?
And one of the saddest things to me, is that for decades they have been teaching multitudes in the "Body of Christ," that as a follower of Jesus your main pursuit is to garner as much wealth as you can in this life.
Could I tell you how many lost souls that these men and women have stepped over in their pursuit of material riches in this life?
No, I can't tell you, but God can and I am confident that He is going to let a number of these "Preachers," know on judgment day.
Could I tell you how many once believers have left the church out of disappointment in thos words, which were taught and preached to them?
Nevertheless, what I wish to point out is that these "Preachers," use many manipulative advantages in which others don't have access to, such as the financial supports among themselves. And then they get on a soap box and preach as if it should be just as easy for you to gather hordes of riches as it has been for them.
Well, perhaps, I could believe that if I had congregation after congregations to preach to and to lay a "Guilt Trip." upon them that commands them to give all of their hard-earned money to me, but I don't.
Nevertheless, what I want you all to understand here is that I am one of the sincerest believers on Earth when it comes to these once buried secret "laws of Prosperity," which are written in the Bible.
In fact, I am going to expand on them and to even tell you a better and faster way in which you can use them and to enact them to work for your benefit.
Would that be alright?
You see, in studying the ways of God, his attributes, his nature and by just living out my life in trial and error, I have come to learn a few things about God.
One is that God will pretty much let you do anything and even support you in favor over your brother or sister, if He has to honor his "WORD."
I began this paper by posting the scriptures of the Old Testament where the Israelites had asked God for a King. This upset God, as he was a merciful and just leader or God over the Nation.
So, the people are upset over something, and they come to the Prophet Samuel.
Samuel, they say, were mad, we want to be just like the other nations ruled by a King.
What they were really saying though, was that we don't trust God.
I guess, it would be like when Jesus taught "His disciples" on the mountain. You can find it in Matthew chapters five through seven. In his famous "Sermon on the Mount," the following is taken:
Matthew 6:30-34 New Living Translation
30 And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?
31 “So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ 32 These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. 33 Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.
34 “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.
You see, as a kid I was always worried about running out of money. I think I had money in my pocket from maybe twelve years old to the time I became a Christian. I don't believe that there was a day in which I had run out of money. It was a great fear that I had.
So, when I became a follower of Jesus, read the Bible and came upon these passages. I stopped reading my Bible and I talked to God for a few minutes.
I said, "God, do you mean that if I become a follower of Jesus then for the rest of my life, I will never ever have to fear about not having enough to live on or being abandoned with no resources."
Well, there has been many times where I have been stranded or left out in the cold, but God always has provided the resources to get out or has taken care of me in my darkest hours.
Therefore, I have very little fear of the future, and it emboldens me to do things that one would not normally do.
last week, I pointed this fact out that when Jesus gave the "Sermon on the Mount," the Bible is very clear that he was addressing his disciples, and not the crowds.
I think many times the church thinks, "Oh, those were sayings that Jesus gave to the crowd to make them feel better about his teachings."
No, the Bible says, Jesus took his disciples up on the mount to teach them. In other words, Jesus taught specifically his disciples, to not seek riches, to not worry about material things. Nonetheless, in the Prosperity movement, what they teach is that you should gather an inheritance for your children's children's childrens childrens children and then if you still have some at the end of your life, you can leave it to your daughters or sons?
Anyway, one of the reasons why I am so hated among the "Clergy," or "Religious Elite," in the American church is because I have been preaching that the church has gotten way off the mark in its teachings on finances.
I have also taught that by strict legalistic "Tithing," teachings what the church is doing is placing the "laity," in cruel bondage issues. I come to these conclusions mostly by the teachings of Paul the apostle which are all recorded in the scriptures.
One of my favorite examples is the entire Book of Galatians, in which Paul is dealing with "Legalism," concerning "Circumcision." these were rituals of the Jews, why wouldn't the argument of one not be pertinent or the same for the other?
AI Overview
In the Letter to the Galatians, Paul argues that salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ, not through adherence to the Mosaic Law. He emphasizes that the old law is no longer necessary because Christ fulfilled it, and that Gentiles are included in God's family on equal footing with Jews through faith. Paul strongly opposes the idea that Gentiles must be circumcised or follow Jewish law to be saved, asserting that such practices pervert the true gospel.
Isn't it amazing when a dern computer has more sense than half the preachers in America?
No, it isn't, I think most are just illiterate concerning the Bible.
Well, either that or they are just so much happier when manipulating offerings for their "cause."
Nonetheless, let me get to my point.
After that "Prosperity Convention," I was on a bus and there happened to be a young mother with two small children on the bus. Well, I felt the Lord tell me to give her one of the hundred dollar bills that I had in my wallet.
So, obediently I did that and then the next day my brother sent me two thousand dollars. Well, I don't believe that he would have been moved that day to send me that much money, had I not obeyed God.
Nonetheless, for a few decades I have been preaching that a Christian has an opportunity to sow their money for those things that are precious on God's heart.
I have preached on how that I have given to organizations such as St. Jude's, the Shriner Hospital, the Palestine's Children Relief, Operation Blessing, Children of the Night, Christ for the Nations, Operation Smile, or Smile Train in Africa, Tunnel to Towers, Wounded Warrior, or a host of many others, I don't even have a list, as I don't declare any of these offerings as a tax deduction. Most of my receipts are thrown away, because they are registered in heaven and so far, I don't have any need for them.
I am sorry, but I just can't comprehend in my mind how God would wish for billions and billions of dollars over the years to go to wealthy Evangelists or Preachers. Neither have I reconciled it in my heart how the Lord would want even more billions of dollars to go to brick and mortar buildings and especially here in America where there are untold millions of empty warehouses and such that could easily be utilized for large churches.
But I suppose that most "leaders," couldn't comprehend that God would bless a church in making that kind of sacrifice. You see, in the American church we are taught that God likes everything brand spanking new.
One of the latest "new churches" being built at present is one in which I just received an alert for.
Thank God, but the notice stated that they had just arrived or were about to come to the halfway mark of a thirty-million-dollar goal, but then it stated something like 'that was of course', "Phase One," so I don't exactly have a specific number to give you that we can all glorify God for?
Perhaps, next email, if I am still on their list.
He also likes our "Preachers," to be the most prosperous or wealthy as any member of the church, otherwise somehow there is an unbalance in the "church."
Nevertheless, I have been as a biblical Prophet preaching these things for over forty years, and yet not having one person respond.
Well, after the Lord blessed me with those two thousand dollars the other day, shortly after that I received another two-thousand-dollar blessing.
So, normally when I am blessed like that it encourages me to "seek the Lord," for more clarity.
Well, that's what I have been doing for a few days.
Therefore, let me share a few things in which I learned from the Lord.
I have already explained how that God will let you do or ask for anything in "Faith," and will even help you to attain it at the cost of others, so long as you are doing it under the acts of "Faith."
And the reason for this is because as I further explained in starting this paper "God is a Holy God."
There are "laws," in which when enacted by a believer they will force God to act on your behalf in attaining or fulfilling them.
In the Bible, when the Israelites demanded a King from Samuel in the Old Testament, God granted their request. I'm not quite sure if God had to because of a promise that he made to them or what, but nonetheless, God did grant the request.
First, however, He warned them through Samuel. He told Samuel to go back to the people and to tell them this, "If they are given a king, then these are going to be the traditions or laws in which that King will demand from you, are you sure that you still want a King?"
So, Samuel goes back to the people and warns them, yet they say, "We don't care, WAAAAHHHH, we want a King."
Have you ever been in a "Prosperity church service?"
1 Samuel 8:10-18 New Living Translation
10 So Samuel passed on the Lord’s warning to the people who were asking him for a king. 11 “This is how a king will reign over you,” Samuel said. “The king will draft your sons and assign them to his chariots and his charioteers, making them run before his chariots. 12 Some will be generals and captains in his army, some will be forced to plow in his fields and harvest his crops, and some will make his weapons and chariot equipment. 13 The king will take your daughters from you and force them to cook and bake and make perfumes for him. 14 He will take away the best of your fields and vineyards and olive groves and give them to his own officials. 15 He will take a tenth of your grain and your grape harvest and distribute it among his officers and attendants. 16 He will take your male and female slaves and demand the finest of your cattle and donkeys for his own use. 17 He will demand a tenth of your flocks, and you will be his slaves. 18 When that day comes, you will beg for relief from this king you are demanding, but then the Lord will not help you.”
Also, let me point out that as I have been visiting Churches, as in The United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and other parts of the globe, most have great programs where the people are "blessed," with "Works."
Communities are served, the poor are recognized, the people are preaching a compassionate Jesus, and lives are being changed.
Over the years, as well, I have noticed that in Africa, there are a lot of churches where many of the leaders have been proselytized into a "American Prosperity mindset " and many of these churches run under budgets of millions and millions of dollars. I have heard of churches where the leaders have numerous Private Jets and such. this should not be going on in God's church.
How about we begin to separate the chaff from the wheat in the "Body of Christ," so we will know who our real brothers and sisters are!
How about if the church quits honoring every demon leader who simply calls himself a "Christian."
Just a thought!
Could I just add one other thing before I close this for tonight.
In the case of that newest church being built there will be thirty million dollars in which will never help any of the agencies in which I have listed, nor will that money be applied toward the homeless of the city, the poor, the elderly, or of the downtrodden.
Do you know what the downtrodden are?
Neither do I, but whatever the case, no human being will ever enjoy a penny from that thirty million dollars, other than the individuals who will weekly enter the sanctuary in order to lift up "Holy Praise" of Worship to God.
Sort of makes you want to go buy a New York Steak and to go eat it in front of a homeless person, doesn't it?
Actually, we ought to be glad that it is not a Private Jet, on second thought!
(Not finished, to be continued...)
Part Two
You know how I always explain how the Holy Spirit will normally go over the paper in my mind which I had written the night before. Yes, he brings things to my remembrance and then gives me suggestions on how I could more clarify an issue or such.
Well, he didn't do this today and I am guessing it was because I never finished the paper. You see, I wanted to show how God operates in a believer's finances in order to educate my listeners.
Well, I can already hear the laughter, "What, what are you talking about you have never had any finances as a believer, you have only been living on "Jack Squat" for forty years."
"What is this guy, did he finally go over the edge?"
Well, I have been in school for forty years and I just graduated with a "Teaching Degree."
Anyway, last night after writing the first half of this paper, I got to thinking of some other ministries in which I have "Sowed," into.
I thought of three though there are way more than that. One was a ministry in Africa where they travel across the continent and build "Drinking Wells," for the villages. They go to villages where people are suffering from malnutrition, a lack of water" related diseases and such. Normally, these individuals and especially the children are suffering greatly, and, in some pictures, they look as if they were in a concentration camp having suffered under the Holocaust.
A few times, as well, I have sowed into a number of African Orphanages. Normally, it will be where a Missionary from India or somewhere has ministered on the continent and then they build homes and orphanages for the children. In one instance, I heard about it through a church that I was visiting in Europe. The Indian Pastor had come to preach a powerful sermon as I recall.
Nonetheless, my point is that I have only given with the intention of pleasing what I feel has been on the heart of Jesus and God.
"Oh yea, now I remember the third one in which I was recalling last night."
It was the ministry or church in which they are building a thirty-million-dollar new building. You see, I am not against the churches who are doing what they feel is of the Lord. But, many of these pastors are merely pawns indoctrinated by others who are completely mixed up in terms of godliness. Nevertheless, "Many wouldn't know the Lord if he were to come dancing down the center aisle of their churches in a Top Hat and Tails."
Do you like that?
That was how Kenneth Hagin explained many of the pastors and churches of his day.
Do you see the correlation?
Well, let's move on.
Nonetheless, I wanted to point out that I have given many offerings to churches and ministries in America.
But you see, I have never had a lot to give, so every time that I give, I will ask the Lord, "Lord, what is on your heart?"
Would you like me to give this offering to this congregation or church just because I am worshipping in it, or is there a deeper calling for me to give out of my heart in order to match what's on your heart.
Well, if you do this long enough, God doesn't always answer you. So, what I do in many cases is that I will say something to the Lord like, "Lord, I don't know where to give this offering, but I know that this pastor or leader has thousands of people who will be giving to him many "Tithes," therefore, I am going to send this to the Shriner's Hospital. God it's those children they "pull," on my heart strings.
And then I have told God many times, "Lord, I don't know that this will be considered in the ledgers of heaven as a "Tithe," but I am confident that this would please your heart more in giving than if I just dropped it in a basket of this huge Mega Church of ten thousand where the living of it's leaders is almost sinful in comparing with their life styles and "prosperity."
And I am not trying to be funny, tell falsehoods, or relating with the intention of trying to make the church look bad.
These are honest to God true stories of where my mind is when I give to God.
I can't tell you how many times that I have told God, "God, I don't care if this offering is accounted to me in return, but I just want to make sure that this offering goes to a place which will please your heart."
And as I have been meditating on these things in the past week or so, I felt as if the Lord was telling me to give "Full Disclosure," so his people can get a better understanding of the principles of "Giving."
So, can I do that?
Can I tell you some "Truths," on the "LAWS," of giving?
Do you realize that when you operate by the biblical principles of "Tithing," or "Giving," that you are operating in the "Laws," of God in which God established for a purpose. Unfortunately, however, I haven't found any place in scripture where it says that they were especially given that men may enrich themselves at the cost of others while applying these laws. Nonetheless, this is what the church in America has adopted as almost doctrine.
Let me give you a few examples in showing you how these are "Laws."
You see, a LAW, would use an accountant, a ledger, and an expectation of self being rewarded for applying them.
So, let's say you have two men and they both are "born again," Christians. Both have been raised in a sect of the church which teaches the "laws," of giving. One person has had a steady job and has suffered little in terms of ever "Lacking," in his life. So, this man attends a huge megachurch regularly, therefore every Sunday he deposits his ten per cent 'Tithe," in the churches offerings. I mean, there has never been a day where he has not regularly tithed to his church.
Now his church is one of the richest churches in the city. The Pastors have tens of millions of dollars, the employees, singers, worship leaders, Choir, as well as the janitorial staff are paid some of the highest wages in comparison with all other churches in this huge metropolitan city.
There is no lack in the church and more or less this is what the people are taught as their duty as Christians. That the highest calling on Earth is to graduate "Spiritually," that one day you can not only comfortably "tithe," but give big offerings, as well.
So, this guy spends his days living comfortably with neither a care in the world for most years.
Pretty much, he is not on the radar of the demons and devils of hell.
Now, way back in the last row sits this little guy who has taken three buses to get to the church and many times isn't even able to show up because there are a lot of issues going on in his life. It is almost as if he is constantly on the attack from the devil himself.
Nevertheless, although he believes in his heart the entire "word of God," he understands that for him to "Tithe," or to give for the mere sake of receiving back in this life, then that would negate his "Faith."
You see, this man has only ever wanted to please the Lord in living out this journey here on Earth.
You see, that is how he looks at his "Faith," it is an Earthly journey.
Therefore, when ever he gives as is expected and taught all through every church that he has ever entered. He only wants to give to those causes in which he knows are going to please the heart of God.
Well, this is a little different theology than "old money bags," and his family sitting up in the front pew who ritually drops the old "Tithing," envelope in the basket every Sunday.
Okay, have you been following my little hypothetical anecdote?
Well, allow me to 'test,' you to see if you have been listening, Okay?
My first question is "Were you able to place your mind in the "mind of Christ" looking down on the entire scenario for twenty years, which man is going to be respected and more pleasing to Jesus?"
"Yes, this same Jesus who sits in the heavens and laughs!"
Of course, "It is going to be the individual who only gives his offerings that he may please his Master Jesus."
Do you understand what I am saying?
One guy is just whittling away his life, ritualistically assuming that when he dies his 'brood,' are all going to go to heaven.
Why? Because he has dutifully obeyed his master's those clothed in "Sheep's Clothing," and teaching that so long as he is dutifully supporting the "Storehouse," he is guaranteed a place in heaven.
WRONG, the Bible is quite clear that "The just will live by Faith."
Okay, second question: "Which of the two will continually be 'blessed,' financially in this life?"
Let me clarify it for you, "There are two people who are both followers of Jesus supposedly, but one makes glad the Lord every day by the Faith and the "Trust," that he puts in his God. The other is more closely defined by a passage in Revelation where God says that men who walk as this man does make God want to vomit them out of his mouth?"
Okay, do you see my point, which one is going to be rewarded every day of his life financially? The man who pleases God daily or the one who makes God want to vomit him out of his mouth?
Which will be financially blessed the more?
No, stupid, not the one who pleases God, but the one who ignores the "words and teachings of Jesus," and is just a selfish money hungering covetous greedy... I better quit there.
You see, he has enacted the financial "laws," of God to work in his life. therefore, while on Earth, he will most likely receive the greatest financial blessings.
Nonetheless, in heaven he will lose much respect and that is if the man ever makes it there.
So, do you new believers understand what I am saying?
Never make great "Prosperity," your goal in this life, unless you want to lose respect from Jesus Himself.
These are the principles and the teachings in which you are all striving for, ever since you came under the false teachings of an American church.
Sure, you can walk out the great "walk," and be as "Prosperous," as the great deceivers, but at the same time you can be vomited out of God's mouth.
Which do you prefer?
Did you give your life to Christ for the sole purpose of prospering financially. or did you give your life to please a most compassionate and wonderful merciful savior?
Have you ever asked God just how big a "Priority" is my giving to that purpose Lord?
Or have you ever asked God, "Could I serve my brothers and sisters better if I actually gave my offerings to real human beings which are going suffering?"
Have you ever read the teachings of Jesus?
Please read: The Sermon on the Mount."
The Bible says that he took them up the mount to teach "His Disciples," not the crowds.
Revelation 3:14-21 New King James Version
14 “And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write,
‘These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God: 15 “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. 16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. 17 Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked— 18 I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. 21 To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.

... I have a cause to change the world and to bring it in subjection unto godliness through Christ.
Therefore, I am highly motivated, and I come across too many as threatening. During this last week, I have been given some godly wisdom that I need to record for a better understanding of finances for the sake of the 'Church,' which has been much deceived.
Perhaps, at the end of this paper, a few may have a better grasp of my motives. You see, they have been mostly formed by my personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and I believe that the Lord has called me to share this "wisdom."
You see, every few hundred years or so, in the church, you have men who are called "Reformers."
Well, I want to be one of these men. No, no, I don't really want to be, as I would rather "decrease" in the light of Jesus.
Nevertheless, I feel compelled by Christ to "Reform," certain practices of the American Church. So, therefore, if one has problems with my insights, and credibility, then please take it to the Lord. I don't have time for your criticism.
Well, there is one person who I might at least weigh her criticism, but I can't promise anything.
Nonetheless, I would like to cause these other phony hypocritical ministries to instead of taking in billions of dollars from God's children for Private Jets, wealthy toys, and mansions, to instead start using those billions of dollars toward the causes and for the works of the downtrodden or suffering people of God.
You see, instead of taking, taking and taking from God's people, I would like the church to start giving, giving and giving to His children. Because I believe with all of my heart, that this is the "Heart of God."
Can you imagine how the world would become different if we could get rid of these selfish men who control the finances of God's people to serve only themselves, but instead that money began going to feed the hungry or to clothe the homeless?
Can you understand what I am talking about?
For well over forty years, I have witnessed evil men come into the church and to divert billions of dollars for man's glory. And mostly it can all be attributed for the sake of "Prospering," financially a small per centage of the "body of Christ."
Well, this should not be so yet is because these men have deceived so many of God's sheep, therefore all that I am doing is trying to examine what none of these men explain to the new believers, as they proselytize these young recruits or possible "soldiers" for Christ.
Nevertheless, this was what the apostle Paul prophesied when he was leaving the church in Ephesus:
Following taken from "Google:"
AI Overview
The scripture where Paul prophesies about wolves entering the church after his departure is Acts 20:29-30. In this passage, Paul warns the Ephesian elders that after his departure, "grievous wolves" will come in among them, not sparing the flock. He also predicts that men from within the church will arise, speaking perverse things to draw disciples away.
Here's the relevant text from Acts 20:29-30 (NIV):
"I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock. Even from your own number, men will rise up and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them."
So, anyway. I am not ashamed of the gospel message in which Jesus preached. I have pointed out that when Jesus spoke the "Sermon on the Mount," he was teaching his disciples, the Bible says.
You see, it doesn't say that Jesus was speaking or warning those followers at the foot of the mountain. It says, that "Jesus began to teach his disciples."
"What do you mean John?"
I mean the Bible says that "He began to teach his disciples?"
"Well, what did Jesus teach those disciples?" Was it about the "Prosperity Laws," which are found in the Bible and have made multi-millionaires of deceived Christians who through negative character traits of "greed and covetousness," have profited through such teachings, John?" Not all, but through enough, and no that was not what Jesus taught "his disciples on the Mount."
He taught them godly characteristics when it came to the handling or ownership of money or riches.
"C'mon John, teach us exactly what Jesus taught his disciples, so we too, can be like them on our journey to heaven."
From John: "Oh Okay, let's go back to his 'Sermon on the Mount," to examine those teachings for which He taught his disciples."
Let me post a few of the scriptures, that we might examine them and so we can live in the way in which the Master commanded us to live by.
And I am not talking about media personalities who claim to be "Christians," I am talking about those who truly claim to be true "Disciples of Jesus."
Can you understand the difference?
Well, I am glad as most in the American Church have no idea what a true follower of Jesus is.
Here is a good passage which just popped up when I put "Matthew six," in the "Search Box:"
Matthew Six
Teaching about Giving to the Needy
"Watch out! Don't do your good deeds publicly, to be admired by others, for you will lose the reward from your Father in heaven. When you give to someone in need, don't do as the hypocrites do-blowing trumpets in the synagogues and streets to call attention to their acts of charity! I tell you the truth, they have received all the reward they will ever get. But when you give to someone in need, don't let your left hand know what your right hand is doing. ...
(Author's note: "Oh don't worry, I can afford to lose a few rewards, be more concerned for yourselves.)
Nonetheless, let me go back and start at the beginning of the "Sermon on the Mount."
Matthew 6:1-4 New Living Translation
Teaching about Giving to the Needy
6 "Watch out! Don't do your good deeds publicly, to be admired by others, for you will lose the reward from your Father in heaven. 2 When you give to someone in need, don't do as the hypocrites do-blowing trumpets in the synagogues and streets to call attention to their acts of charity! I tell you the truth, they have received all the reward they will ever get. 3 But when you give to someone in need, don't let your left hand know what your right hand is doing. 4 Give your gifts in private, and your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.
Authors note: Please notice that there were no provisions given for when you wished to give to your fellow brethren in the ministries.
And while I am thinking about it could I tell of an anecdote that I forgot to mention the other day?
You see, many times I have divine encounters where the Lord allows me to hear things on my journey in life as a called out "Reformer," of the church. One day, I happened to be hitch-hiking East to go to a conference or something. Nevertheless, I got picked up by a former member of one of these 'Prosperity Leaders."
So, as we were fellowshipping the subject turns to this most famous fellowship of 'Prosperity Leaders,' since he was a former top echelon worker among one of their ministries.
Well, he shows me this incredible Rolex watch and tells me the story behind it. Right now, I can't even recall, but it had quite a story as to it's fame. Then he began to tell me that when a particular Senator happened to begin an investigation of these major well-known leaders, the gifts started flowing.
In other words, he as plain as day was telling me that as the investigation of these leaders began, they started to Jettison all kinds of wealthy Jewelry, material goods such as their Solid Gold, Platinum or Classic watches which they had been purchasing for decades, as well, as other personal expensive and lavish toys. Antique Cars and other material goods which they had all collected over the years.
You see, they were all expecting to soon be audited from the IRS.
I mean, I don't believe that this guy was lying to me, he showed me this very unique and prestigious watch which had a great history to it.
But my point is that these kinds of activities have been going on for years among many of these highly thought of Minister's.
But Jesus tells us that "you can determine the character of a man by their fruit."
Once, when Oral Roberts gave a sermon to some charismatic Leaders, he confessed a time in his life where he fell or got off course by accumulating too many "Prize Bulls," after he had purchased a ranch.
Nevertheless, soon he realized that as a minister called by God, he had no right to invest in this expensive past time, so he repented and sold his ranch never to become entangled in that type of "sin," anymore.
But what I wish to point out is that with many of these Prosperity Leaders, "Lavish lifestyles," are thought to be normal among them and the only time that they will ever even consider such a thing as "Sin," is when they believe that they are about to be audited by the IRS sent by a powerful Senator from Washington.
Can you understand what I am saying?
You see, the apostle Paul said that there will come a time when all things are brought into the light, even our darkest motives and secrets.
We are all guilty, and nothing escapes our Lord.
Matthew 6:19-21 New Living Translation
Teaching about Money and Possessions
19 "Don't store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. 21 Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.
Well, Jesus what about all of the scriptures where they say to leave your children's, children, children's, childrens children a godly inheritance?
Could he be talking about such attributes like as Integrity, honesty, goodness and moral character, perhaps?
"NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH, he was talking about accumulating millions and millions of dollars, John."
And then if you have some left at the end of your life you could leave it with a son or daughter.
Next Scriptures:
Matthew 6:24-34 New Living Translation
24 "No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money.
25 "That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life-whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn't life more than food, and your body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds. They don't plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren't you far more valuable to him than they are? 27 Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?
28 "And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don't work or make their clothing, 29 yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. 30 And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?
31 "So don't worry about these things, saying, 'What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?' 32 These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. 33 Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.
34 "So don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today's trouble is enough for today.
Matthew 7:6-11 New Living Translation
6 "Don't waste what is holy on people who are unholy. Don't throw your pearls to pigs! They will trample the pearls, then turn and attack you.
Effective Prayer
7 "Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.
9 "You parents-if your children ask for a loaf of bread, do you give them a stone instead? 10 Or if they ask for a fish, do you give them a snake? Of course not! 11 So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him.
Matthew 7:12-20 New Living Translation
The Golden Rule
12 "Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets.
The Narrow Gate
13 "You can enter God's Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. 14 But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it.
The Tree and Its Fruit
15 "Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep but are really vicious wolves. 16 You can identify them by their fruit, that is, by the way they act. Can you pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17 A good tree produces good fruit, and a bad tree produces bad fruit. 18 A good tree can't produce bad fruit, and a bad tree can't produce good fruit. 19 So every tree that does not produce good fruit is chopped down and thrown into the fire. 20 Yes, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit, so you can identify people by their actions.
"Oh yea, the sermon began at Chapter five not six."
Matthew 5:1-12 New Living Translation
The Sermon on the Mount
5 One day as he saw the crowds gathering, Jesus went up on the mountainside and sat down. His disciples gathered around him, 2 and he began to teach them.
The Beatitudes
3 "God blesses those who are poor and realize their need for him,
for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs.
4 God blesses those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
5 God blesses those who are humble,
for they will inherit the whole earth.
6 God blesses those who hunger and thirst for justice,
for they will be satisfied.
7 God blesses those who are merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
8 God blesses those whose hearts are pure,
for they will see God.
9 God blesses those who work for peace,
for they will be called the children of God.
10 God blesses those who are persecuted for doing right,
for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs.
11 "God blesses you when people mock you and persecute you and lie about you and say all sorts of evil things against you because you are my followers. 12 Be happy about it! Be very glad! For a great reward awaits you in heaven. And remember, the ancient prophets were persecuted in the same way.
Okay, now another "Test," question:
How many "Prosperity Doctrines," of those taught in the American Church, can you find in the teaching here of Jesus in giving this most famous "Sermon?"
Which of course, was his teaching to his disciples.
How many "Prosperity Laws," did the Lord recite to his disciples as he taught them on the Mountain?
Now please remember this was given by Jesus to his disciples recorded in the Bible. These are the "teachings of Jesus" concerning money and given as instruction for life to His disciples. You know, "Jesus, our Lord and Savior?"
Hint: "It is less than the hundreds that our American Prosperity preachers preach almost every Sunday to their congregations in order to manipulate the personal incomes of their Congregationalists."
Have you ever read 'The Sermon on the Mount?"
I have and I can't seem to find one "giving law," in the entire three chapters of dialogue.
Nonetheless, we have preachers who daily explain that it is God's will for every man to legalistically "Tithe," to their Church or Ministry.
Well, I guess Jesus really "missed it," didn't he?
Now let me sum up all of this entire paper by stating some "laws of accountability," that the Lord had shown me a few days ago concerning those who follow such leaders.
Did you know that when these men place themselves under God in Prayer that they are many times 'Hi-jacking," your Faith.
Do you understand that you as a believer in Christ have every right as they do to believe for a twenty-million-dollar Private Jet.
Nonetheless, when they enter into Prayer and they tell God, "God I am going to believe for a twenty million dollar Jet," then God has counsel with himself and says, "Hey, he is at it again, this time he is believing for a twenty million dollar jet just as we have promised in our word to grant whatever you ask for in prayer believing.
So, then one of the Godhead says to the others, "Well, we can't make it happen unless we use the "Faith," and resources of these 10,000 supporters.
Lastly, the third person of the Godhead replies, then we must do what we must do.
So, in essence what these selfish leaders are doing is that they are Hi-jacking the "Faith," of others who they have convinced to support them into investing their personal resources provided by God in this life, so they can bless particular men which are manipulative in the Pulpits of God, in order to fulfill their fleshly desires in many cases.
Well, you see what God has shown me, is that when each one of these men stand before Jesus some day they are going to have to give an accountability of what they did with the resources in which God had provided to them in this life.
So, for example, this will be the case of Mr. Jones, in seat number thirty, front row Pew, who had spent twenty-five years faithfully "Tithing," to Evangelist Pastor Wily Someday, at "The Mega Church of the Hijackings," somewhere in deep Alabama.
Jesus: Okay, so what is your name again?
Mr. Jones: Well, you know me Jesus I have been a faithful church goer at Church of the Hijackings, for over twenty-five years.
Jesus: No, I don't know you, but I see that you have been claiming to be a follower of mine ever since that day you walked into the church you are talking about.
Mr. Jones: Yes, yea that's me, do you see where I have been giving my weekly "Tithe," faithfully to the church every week?
Jesus: Yes, I do see that, but where was your "tithe," going to?
Was it used to help humanity?
Was it used to relieve the burdens of single mothers working three jobs to barely get by in order to care for the infants that they almost had aborted?
Was it used to purchase a Grocery Cart for that old woman who is normally pulling that older cart by your house every Monday which only has three wheels?
Did you give an offering or buy a new cane for that old, crippled man that is normally hanging around the grocery store in which you shop at weekly?
Did you ever send it to any Orphanages in Africa which shows pictures of the children starving to death in Nigeria?
Mr. Jones: Oh no, instead I normally obeyed my Pastors and gave great gifts to my church every Sunday in order for our congregation to meet weekly for an hour or two in one of the finest churches in Alabama.
Why our front foyer alone cost us five million to build, but you ought to have seen the incredible pattern which hand was carved into the tile.
And then with my pension and my other accounts, I mostly send those finances monthly to my personal friend and televangelist. I once even shook the man's hand some twenty years ago, therefore I never miss a monthly opportunity to sow into his ministry.
Jesus: Oh yea, I see, now what does he do again?
Mr. Jones: Oh, he is in Oil, Real estate, Banking, Fine Metals, and I believe he has a hand in the 'Shrimping Industry' as he is based out of New Orleans.
This is really not funny, this is what God showed me concerning the principles of the "Kingdom of God."
Do you think that you can feed a slew of Preachers who are "Master Manipulators," of the finances taken from the people of God, and then think that since you have only been following their advice or doctrines, that one day you will be received into heaven as some kind of hero?
No, I am sorry people, but God placed you on Earth to be as accountable as every other believer who exercises "faith."
No, most American Christians are just lazy who are content in following others never doing anything for someone else.
Well, God isn't as you have imagined or have expected him to be, since you never read the scriptures, but instead only believe as according to what you are told.
Did you know that you have every right to believe for a twenty-million-dollar Jet, just as much as your typical "Prosperity Preacher," nonetheless, instead you would just as soon Partner with another that you may garner the "wealth," of other men's Faith.
Nonetheless, there is an old saying, and it goes like this, "Those who live by the sword also die by the sword."
In other words, if you simply go through life believing as one of these manipulative materialists "Prosperity Preachers," then you are going to face the same judgment in which they receive.
You see, one day they will all stand before Jesus and the Lord is going to ask them "What did you do with the resources in which I provided for you in this life?"
James 2 New Living Translation
A Warning against Prejudice
2 My dear brothers and sisters, how can you claim to have faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ if you favor some people over others?
2 For example, suppose someone comes into your meeting dressed in fancy clothes and expensive jewelry, and another comes in who is poor and dressed in dirty clothes. 3 If you give special attention and a good seat to the rich person, but you say to the poor one, “You can stand over there, or else sit on the floor”—well, 4 doesn’t this discrimination show that your judgments are guided by evil motives?
5 Listen to me, dear brothers and sisters. Hasn’t God chosen the poor in this world to be rich in faith? Aren’t they the ones who will inherit the Kingdom he promised to those who love him? 6 But you dishonor the poor! Isn’t it the rich who oppress you and drag you into court? 7 Aren’t they the ones who slander Jesus Christ, whose noble name you bear?
8 Yes indeed, it is good when you obey the royal law as found in the Scriptures: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” 9 But if you favor some people over others, you are committing a sin. You are guilty of breaking the law.
10 For the person who keeps all of the laws except one is as guilty as a person who has broken all of God’s laws. 11 For the same God who said, “You must not commit adultery,” also said, “You must not murder.” So if you murder someone but do not commit adultery, you have still broken the law.
12 So whatever you say or whatever you do, remember that you will be judged by the law that sets you free. 13 There will be no mercy for those who have not shown mercy to others. But if you have been merciful, God will be merciful when he judges you.
Faith without Good Deeds Is Dead
14 What good is it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don’t show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone? 15 Suppose you see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing, 16 and you say, “Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well”—but then you don’t give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do?
17 So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless.
18 Now someone may argue, “Some people have faith; others have good deeds.” But I say, “How can you show me your faith if you don’t have good deeds? I will show you my faith by my good deeds.”
19 You say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror. 20 How foolish! Can’t you see that faith without good deeds is useless?
21 Don’t you remember that our ancestor Abraham was shown to be right with God by his actions when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? 22 You see, his faith and his actions worked together. His actions made his faith complete. 23 And so it happened just as the Scriptures say: “Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith.” He was even called the friend of God. 24 So you see, we are shown to be right with God by what we do, not by faith alone.
25 Rahab the prostitute is another example. She was shown to be right with God by her actions when she hid those messengers and sent them safely away by a different road. 26 Just as the body is dead without breath, so also faith is dead without good works.
Well, I am going to end this paper here. Nonetheless, what I want to point out more than anything is that when these "Preachers," believe for something materialistic and God would rather that they had used that money for other issues in which would help mankind.
You are just as accountable as them if you are one of their supporters.
You see, "Say one of them were to waste tens of millions of dollars on some impulse buying."
Yes, just as you "impulse buy," so do they. Believe it or not these individuals are still just human. But let's say that one gets a covetous thought in his head concerning a Private Jet that he doesn't necessarily need and he enlists your support or aid in attaining that, Jet.
Well, then what he is doing is he is taking the resources of the "Body of Christ," which could have been used for godly works and he is hi-jacking it for his ministry.
Is there not one person who understands this logic.
It is not Rocket Science.
Following taken from "Google:"
Question: In the law what is the penalty for the misuse of funds?
Answer: Below are potential penalties for misappropriation of funds: A prison sentence of up to one year for misdemeanor misappropriation or at least one year (and up to 10 or more) if charged as a felony. Fines of up to $1,000 for a misdemeanor offense and up to $10,000 or more for a felony offense.
So, after so many months he attains his prize, although God would have rather the man have used those finances, mostly from his supporters, to have built an orphanage or a hospital.
Well, does the sole accountability of the misuse of funds fall only on the individual who birthed the idea from the pits of hell, or are his supporters also accountable?
Did you know that in the world, this is a crime?
"The misuse of funds."
How come the church is the only place where this crime is not recognized?
Well, I've got news for you, it is recognized, but most individuals will never know it until it is too late.
Yes, these are the things in which God has been talking to me about lately.
Personally, I believe that each one of his supporters are just as accountable for wasted finances as the main participant.
Think on these things, my brothers and sisters, for you see, if I am right, then there are many who have as much as thrown away almost every reward that they expected to receive from heaven?
Of course, that's just my way of thinking though, I hope you don't lose any sleep over it!
Postscript: Lastly, what I would like to say is that I have been fighting these practices for many years.
One: because I have seen too many people in the 'body of Christ,' abused, disappointed and abandoned by these same ministers.
Secondly: This concept of two very different classes of people has always just seemed so unnatural to me when I weigh it to the nature of God. How can you explain this concept where the Clergy over rules a congregation of disciples by being lavished with millions of dollars, in which these ministers live?
Give me one example anywhere in the New Testament where this is reflective of Jesus Early disciples or followers.
And Thirdly: The doctrines of these '"Streams," contradict or negate almost everything taught by our Lord in the "Sermon on the Mount."

Please, allow me to add this last paragraph. I finished this paper without even coming to the main point in which I intended to convey. Nonetheless, this is how I write sometimes. I allow the Holy Spirit to inspire my writing and many times the Lord will take me off into various points or subjects where I never intended to go.
Nonetheless, I am not backing down or changing any of the things that I wrote above. You see, my intention when I began the paper was to point out that "If you have been 'tithing,' and there has been a slump in the return in which you were expecting to receive back from your "giving." Then perhaps, you ought to try giving to more humane causes. Maybe, if you started to give to causes that benefitted others, then perhaps these "principles," of tithing or offerings might start working more for your benefit.
In other words, my intention was not to try to convey this idea of never having any accountability for finances or to give up everything that you owned, so you could live daily by trusting God for your daily sustenance. I mean, I am not stupid, how many American Christians are ready for that step?
No, my point was to convey an understanding that biblically what Jesus taught his disciples was not to live by Biblical financial laws, but to literally live in a manner of "Faith," in which you have placed all of your "Faith" in God and were not devoting your life here on Earth in pursuing financial comfort in this life by the amount of money in which you have stored up for yourself.
So, again what I am saying is that my point in beginning the paper was to suggest for Christians who were lacking the return on their offerings to instead of putting all of your "Tithing," or offering money into MAN, why not try placing your "giving," into those things which must please God more by helping your brothers and sisters who are in need.
Do you see what I am saying?
If you want to or need to "tithe," in this life, then why not "Tithe," your "Tithe," in "works," as opposed to tithing your money into "Man," or "Men," who are going to lavishly spend those offerings on making themselves comfortable in this life. Or as opposed to making those monetary sacrifices on huge Brick and mortar structures which have been birthed out of the imaginations of men?
Well, the reason why I completely lost my point was because I was just writing as directed by the Holy Spirit, and I believe that what I wrote should have been written long ago for many in the American church. You see, sometimes we forget exactly what the Bible says or what Jesus taught. So, again let me remind you that when the Lord was teaching his disciples he wasn't teaching them to utilize those Biblical financial laws written in the scriptures. he was telling them that if they truly wanted to be devout followers of Christ then they should live in a manner which trusts him daily in everything.
Probably another reason why I lost my main point was that I had been writing all night and then started visiting three or four church services online for the next four hours or so, and then only after I had taken a rest of an hour or so of sleep, did the Lord remind me of my missing an objective in my writing.
So, "Why are we giving billions and billions of dollars of the money that we extract from God's laity unto mostly those men who call themselves "The Clergy?"
Have you ever asked that question of God?
Or why is the American Church so obsessed with spending millions and millions of dollars on 'Brick and Mortar' Buildings when we have such greater needs for our hurting people?
Have you ever asked God that question?
Recently, I kept getting a busy signal when I dial up God, so as soon as one of you can get me an answer from God, please Email me and let me know the answers!
Would you do that for me?
Lastly:
Well, this week's "Best Sunday Sermon," is going to go to John Bevere, even though he gave it a few days ago. Nonetheless, I just listened to it right while the clock was going into Early Monday Morning. It's twelve forty now.
So, what I am saying is that it might be a little unfair. You see, I also intended to listen to another favorite preacher earlier from NY. Nonetheless, as I was going to listen to him as I had decided to relax on my bed, I fell asleep maybe ten seconds after my head hit the pillow. I slept right through his sermon.
Well, I will attempt another try tomorrow perhaps.
Who knows, maybe we will have another unusual "Tie," again this weekend.

Last addition to this paper, but I really felt led by the Lord!
You know, I think that I have recently gone through one of the toughest times in my life, all in the last three or four months. No one could understand it. Nevertheless, today I clicked on "You Tube," and I began watching the opening rally at "Christ for the Nations Bible School."
Well, I was elated because all last year I would begin my day by attending online one of the "Morning Chapel's" at either CFNI, Oral Roberts or from Lee University in Tennessee. I know that Time's Square Church also has a Bible School, "Summit International School of Ministry."
Nonetheless, after graduation it seemed as if each day was more difficult than the days before.
Well, could I tell you why?
It is because we are made to worship God consistently through our weeks, months, and life times. This is an innate part of our creation. This is why every man ends up worshipping something. For some it is careers, riches, sexual conquests, evil, whatever.
Nevertheless, this is what God placed in our "spirit man." There is an innate desire to 'worship,' God in each one of us, yet many will substitute something else.
He didn't create us to strictly go to church for a hour on Sunday. One day, you will look back on your life and you will realize that the most pleasurable, the most productive, the most fulfilling periods of that life were when you shared them with God.
So, I am looking forward again to wake up in the mornings of the coming months and to become refreshed in my 'spirit man,' by attending a 'Chapel,' each morning online. You see, it makes my day more fulfilling, less stressful, less challenging, it keeps my focus on "righteousness" and on God.
But, as I was thinking this after watching some of the opening rally at CFNI, I felt as if the Lord was telling me to write about this and to also encourage those who are in their youth, (You know, under fifty) to take advantage of these situations as well.
Perhaps, God is calling you to attend a Bible School this year. It is not too late. Many of these schools will work with you to get you enrolled before the cutoff date.
I mean, attending "Early Morning Chapel," is great, but there is nothing on Earth like being enrolled in full time Bible School.
And if God has placed that on your heart, get on the phone tomorrow.
Think on these things, my brothers and sisters!
