God is not the author of death and do not ever think that He is. No, Satan brought "death," upon himself when he sinned and was banned from heaven.

God was not the author of mankind's death either. Adam and Eve brought death upon themselves and on all of mankind when they sinned.

This is why bad things happen to good people. It is not that God enjoys bringing punishment unto man, but because God is a just and Holy God, there must be repercussions from a world who invites sin and judgment upon itself.

Well, in doing so, many times the righteous are the ones who also reap the consequences of that justice.

And I agree that it all seems so unfair until you can truly understand the attributes and the nature of God. Nonetheless, after fully understanding God's nature we can then accept much of the heartache and pain in which we sometimes are allotted in this life, even though it doesn't make sense in the natural.

Well, when a nation refuses to repent, when a nation refuses to acknowledge God then what happens is the devil, Satan or AKA "the god of this world," is handed the authority to bring death and destruction into the world.

Many times, these are the weather phenomenon such as hurricanes, tornadoes, and floods, that have happened throughout the world in every age.

Well, in Deuteronomy God gives a promise to the nation of Israel and he explains that there are both blessings and curses to the nation who either follows the Lord or refuses to follow the Lord.

Last month, I spent weeks showcasing almost every Church "Stream" or movement of God in the last fifty or so years in America. Well, without having to re-post my articles, I can tell you that for the most part the American church has been one large failure. Yet none will acknowledge anything other than the fact that each "Stream," or "Movement," has been a great success.

Of course, the church has become so corrupt that the only way that it measures its success is by how much money or property or power that it has manipulated from its sheep.

I shouldn't have to go into detail concerning the "State of the American Society," as well. What a sick society in which we have become.

Nevertheless, should it really be a "wonder," when we have natural phenomenon as these devastating floods that happened on the fourth of July, in the Mid Texas area.

Well, my point is that God had given His own son, that one who freely gave up His very own life in order to bring mankind into "Eternal life."

You see, the nature of God is that all men live out their days on the Earth in fullness. Nevertheless, many times that isn't possible because man brings "Death," into the picture, and in some cases the same rain falls on the "JUST," when it ought to only fall on the Evil.

AI Overview

The passage in Deuteronomy that discusses God offering a choice between life and death is found in Deuteronomy 30:15-20. Specifically, it states, "See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil. If you obey the commandments of the Lord your God...then you shall live and multiply". This passage emphasizes the choice the Israelites have between following God's commandments, which leads to life and prosperity, or rejecting them, which leads to death and destruction.

Here's a breakdown of the key verses:

Deuteronomy 30:15:

God presents the choice between life and death, blessing and cursing.

Deuteronomy 30:16:

God commands the Israelites to love Him, walk in His ways, and keep His commandments, statutes, and judgments.

Deuteronomy 30:19:

The passage calls heaven and earth to witness the choice being presented - life and death, blessing and curse.

Deuteronomy 30:20:

Choosing life is defined as loving God, obeying His voice, and clinging to Him.

Well, my point is that even in times such as these we all ought to obey the "will of the Lord," or the "word of God," as this is what brings life unto our nation.

Today, I watched much of the reporting on the tragic deaths of those many children who had perished in the flood. It was so heart breaking.

Then later, I felt as if the Lord wanted me to post a paper concerning the tragic deaths of these little girls.

Well, I haven't been posting as I probably should have, but I remembered a sermon that I heard a few weeks ago, and after pulling it up and recalling the message, I felt as if God would have me to post it.

Sermon:    https://youtu.be/fq31Z3VxFgc

Lastly, I hope that no one would think that I would post this to say that "America needed to be punished for their arrogance."

No, that is the farthest thing from my mind, as I deserve the reprimand of the Lord, as much as anyone else in America for my sins.

You see, why I believe that God would have me to post this in relationship to the tragedy of those little children is because God uses all things for his glory.

Romans 8:28 Amplified Bible

28 And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose.

You see, I believe that even in death God can use those little children to perhaps find some people who are ready to "repent," from their "arrogance," of American Pride.

You know, perhaps, we just aren't all "The cat's pajama's," that so many Americans believe that they are.

I mean, when did it become "Kosher," to riot in our cities and to call for the destruction or annihilation of the Jews?

When did it become "right," to attack our authorities and the men who are hired to protect our nation?

When did it become "proper," for our politicians to call for violence in the streets.

I could go on and on and on and on, but then I would have to list all the "sins," of the Republicans as well, and we would be here all night.

Postscript:

My purpose in adding this is to clear up any confusion which an unbeliever might have concerning death and Christianity. They do not contradict each other, but they complement each other when you compare them to God's attribute of justice.

Soon after I became a Christian a book was recommended by our community leaders called “Seeing the Invisible,” subtitled “What happens after you die?”

The author Anne Sandburg collected various accounts of people from “all walks of life,” who had died and gone to heaven and then were sent back to Earth, many times after encountering Jesus Christ.

Well, they had a specific chapter on children from the age of “aborted babies,” to more older children. The author also had quoted from other sources, such as a few authors who had written other books on the same subject. I do not recommend this book as being theologically correct nor do I base any conclusion that she surmised while writing the book unless it is also plainly written and shared in “Scripture.”

You see, as a Christian you judge everything by the authority of the scriptures. Nonetheless, there are other works throughout the church which have untold merits, and where you can weigh in light of all that you have gleaned elsewhere.

I will say this, however, all of her writings seemed to support the loving attributes of the Father and of the Son, as well as the Holy Ghost.

I will probably post a couple excerpts when i get a chance, nonetheless, please don't take these as theological standards for the afterlife.

You see, "Without "Faith, it is impossible to please God." Therefore, God doesn't want you to have a learned knowledge of the things in this life, but God wishes for you to have a "Faith," in this life, because that is what pleases him the most.

Thankfully, I understand that most of the children were already Christians.

Well, if that is the case, then the most honorable thing for a parent to do for a lost child is to have "Faith," as they are waiting for you in heaven.

I can tell you that my "Faith," was totally infused when I saw a "You Tube," clip of a bus load of these children coming home and I heard the entire bus singing Christian hymns.

These are some strong Christian children, bless God!

Taken from "Seeing the Invisible:"

A quote from page 111.

“Children’s Paradise”

It seems that a special place in heaven is reserved for children. At the time, Mrs. Julia Ruopp was out of her body she found herself looking into a bright spot of heaven. “What I saw there made all earthly joys pale into insignificance. I longed to join the merry throng of children, singing and frolicking in an apple orchard.” (Window of heaven, Pg 29)

Telling about the death of a young child Singh said, “Then the angels took the child’s soul to that beautiful light filled part of heaven, which is set apart for children, where they care for them and teach them in all heavenly wisdom, until gradually the little one’s become like angels.” (Visions p. 12)

Following taken from pg 109-110

The Bible records the death of a number of children, some very young and some older. When the infant son of David and Bathsheba died, David said, “…I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.” (2 Samuel 12:23) A much older child, perhaps teen aged, the son of the wicked king Jeroboam, was permitted to die young lest he be contaminated with his father’s evil ways. (See chapter 5, The Appointed Time.)

Author’s note: I am not suggesting, but I am relating a Bible truth. If an individual were to live and die in such a society as ours, and in the end die and to spend eternity in eternal torment, than that would make God a very merciful God in a case where God allowed a child to die.

Nevertheless, we can’t fully understand the ways of God because God declares to man through the Bible, that “his ways are much higher than ours.” You see, sometimes we are just called to have “Faith.” And I am in no way suggesting that this is an easy thing under such sad circumstances.

AI Overview

In the Bible, God states that his ways are higher than ours in Isaiah 55:9. This verse reads, "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts."

This verse emphasizes that God's perspective, plans, and actions are beyond human comprehension. It suggests that what may seem illogical or unfair from a human perspective may be part of a larger, more comprehensive divine plan.
