Well, since I lost nearly every "Board Member" last week over the choosing of Daniel Kolenda's sermon for B.S.SERMON 11-2-25, I have had to do what I have never ever seen any other ministry do and that is to pick a few relatives to step in until I can replace those lost "Board Members."
Here, let me introduce you to a few.
First, we have Uncle Buck.
Uncle Buck comes from a "Prosperity Church," background, and although I have never been quite sure of what "Uncle Buck," has ever did in life, he tells me that he has been 'ordained,' as a professional "Board Member." Personally, I have never heard of the 'office,' but he swears that it is part of the "Six-Fold ministry?"
Next, we have Auntie Emma, who came highly recommended by Uncle Buck. I'm sorry, I have never understood her positions held in the church either, but I am positive that she spent a little time in the "Ol Hen's Ministry," which kept tabs on all of the missionaries or anyone else who ever missed a few Sundays in a row.
Lastly, her twin sister from the other side of town which was also a "Prosperity" clique. Again, she must know everything about anybody who ever walked through the doors of the church.
'Why you can ask her almost anything, but normally you will have told her much more than you ever expected to hear back."
Do you understand what I am saying?
She just had so much "love," in her, that she wanted to know everything about everybody.
Well, let me add this here, there is only one thing worse than to have 'Board Members' who have literally done nothing in the grand scheme of things, and that is to get those others who all 'Pad,' their "resume's."
So, technically, it is only one AM, but already there is much discussion among all involved in the process, as so far, we are weighing two sermons, both spoken on the subject of "Generosity."
Both are good sermons, and not your typical, "I demand your TITHE," type of "Generosity Sermons."
In fact, I actually listened to their whole message in each case, which I am not prone to do while hearing another ten thousandth sermon on "Generosity."
Nevertheless, let me post these, so you can also judge the 'Best Sermon,' though, don't ever think that your opinion matters, as we have qualified 'relatives,' whose "wisdom," is much more respected in the church circles.

Well, it is settled, hands down, the Pastor from Times Square Church once again wins the "Best Sunday Sermon Award for November 9th 2025.
Sermon link: https://youtu.be/QYK5oz_nxAE
The main reason for this is because I believe that his sermon today was a prophetic declaration for the city of New York.
I don't think it coincidence that I happened to come across the other sermon posted by another Pastor from Manhattan in the same week. Together, I believe along with many others, these two leaders are going to be very influential in the coming "Revival," which will no doubt be coming to New York City.
Perhaps, New York City will be one of the most influential centers when this long awaited "Revival," comes to America.
I can't explain it, but I just have this sort of feeling in my "GUT."
Have you ever had a "God Gut Feeling" in your "inner belly?"
Well, I have and they aren't the greatest 'feelings,' in the world sometimes.
More on that later!

Well, today is Tuesday and God has already been preparing me for this next week "Award Show."
I just listened to a fantastic sermon and felt strongly as if I should 'post a link' early as it will be a brand new category. In fact, I was so excited about it I didn't even get to run it by Uncle Buck, and my two aunties.
Anyway, the new "Award," is going to be called, "The Award for the Best 'Board Members' Story."
As of today, I'm not sure if it is going to be a weekly award, a monthly award, or just when I happen on a real juicy tale?
I guess, it wili be determined by the number of "Preachers," with a little Caj...courage?
Will they be willing to share some of the ridiculousness that has gone on in the churches for the last few decades?
Nonetheless, without further ado, one of the most promising "Board Member," stories was given yesterday and was the debut sermon for the two year annual conference sponsored by "2025 Calvary Chapel Association International Pastors & Leaders Conference." (Day 1)

I have mentioned a few times before that Calvary Chapel does not believe in the practice of "speaking in tongues."
I have no wish to argue this out, but this second preacher of the night supported what I have experienced through a number of Calvary Chapels. Personally I found his message quite confusing in terms of "Vision," for the fellowship.
He made one statement concerning a former leader who left the fellowship, his words were something like this, "The guy said to me, "I want to be like a 'Vineyard,' but not with the signs and wonders." And then he went on, "So, I told him "Well that is what we are at Calvary Chapel, why won't you just come back to us."
Now, I hope you don't think that I am doggedly trying to make sure that "Calvary Chapel," becomes a 'Spirit Filled Charismatic Church.'
No, I couldn't care what kind of church they become, go ahead and become a re-defined Mormon Church for all I care because I am not going to lose any sleep over it. Nonetheless, it would be my will to hope for God's will for the church and to me that would mean that they were in complete willingness to receive all that God has given through the manifestations of the Holy Ghost. In other words, Jesus never promised his disciples, "I am going to send you the Holy Spirit, though you should only be open to the manifestations in which YOU feel like having displayed in your personal lives or church.
It would be as if your wife was bearing your child in the hospital, yet he had a 'lisp,' or something and was born prematurely. Finally eight weeks later, the child comes home from the hospital and you have been over seas for the last two months.
So, you learn your child will most likely speak with a "lisp" because he has a cleft jaw or other deformity. So, as the wife gets dressed and ready to go pick the child up from the hospital, you tell her that there might be a little problem.
You sit her down and you begin to speak with all the authority that a 'husband,' can muster.
"Honey, I want you to know that I have thought this issue out and can see no other resolution other than what I am going to have to tell you."
"Mary, when you go to the hospital to pick up little Johnny, I don't want you to encourage him to talk at all."
"Do you understand me?"
"We can build some of the best services to appease the little guy. I have already contracted to have a construction firm build a tree house, a complete eight section play ground equipment set, a small swimming pool, till he needs a larger one, we are going to completely transform three rooms upstairs to make him one of the most fabulous bedrooms that any kid could ever dream of, but you must never ever encourage him or for that matter, nobody should ever teach little "Johnny" to speak."
The husband continues, "You see, if I were to bring home any work associates or we were to have an Evening Party some day, I wouldn't want the boy to speak, lest he completely embarrass our family and especially his brothers and sisters whom we will be having in the future."
Can you see why I am so adamant on this factor, honey?
Just make sure that he never learns to speak while he is residing in OUR house.
From the Author:
I am not trying to be cute, I am not trying to be sarcastic, but I am just pointing out some truths in scripture and in life.
This second Preacher talks of the church, (Calvary Chapels,) as being the "Stencil," from Chuck Smith which has kept the "Fellowship," the same year after year. His argument is that the "stencil," has held the church consistently together as "Pastor Chuck," outlined the pattern.
He says, "You can go to Maine or Wisconsin and there you will find the exact same "pattern church," as here in California or Hawaii."
Somehow, though, he didn't see it as a mainline denomination which is much the same pattern, isn't it?
Then he compares it to the "Vineyard," as if they are a complete failure because John Wimber chose to move his 'church,' in signs and wonders.
On a few other occasions he repeated a few times, either , "we aren't a Baptist church." Or we don't want to be like a 'Baptist Church.'
Lastly, through out this conference I keep hearing references by all manner of brothers that "We are a Holy Spirit, filled church."
The man on a few occasions has encouraged the congregation to seek for a new "Move of the Holy Spirit."
Or they reference a particular time in their lives or at the church when they "received the Holy Spirit?"
Seriously, it was quite confusing.
In order for me to sum up his message, I would have to say that he was asking for the church to pray for an infilling or revival of the Holy Ghost, but not where any type of Charisma gifts might be involved.
And when that happens, they would want it to be completely distinct from a typical Baptist church which frowns on the gifts or the filling of the Holy Spirit......well, I mean, we can be filled with the Holy Spirit or it can fall on our congregation, but we don't want it to be like the Baptist. Nevertheless, just so long as the Holy Spirit doesn't come with signs or wonders like the "Vineyard Church."
"Don't you know that because they were marked by signs and wonders the church failed."
"Not that we ever failed."
"Why just since Chuck passed on we have nearly doubled in size, though, I am not saying that perhaps, he should have died ten years earlier, I am just pointing out a fact."
"Actually, I never thoug...

Okay, I have heard your points, could I share a few things?
Is the church a collection of buildings or is it a "spiritual house," referred to in scripture made up of 'Born Again," believers.
Well, I am going to go out on a limb here, but I believe that God meant the church to be a "Spiritual kingdom," on Earth made up of "Born Again," believers."
Could this be why the entire New Testament refers to the church in just such a way.
The apostle Paul helped establish a number of churches in his day. Is there anywhere in all of scripture where Paul encouraged the unity of his "birthed churches" to the exclusion of all others?
Where is it written in the scriptures that once a church conglomeration or a 501 c 3, church is established then "It is written in stone that that particular church must continue for ever and ever or until the Lord comes again?"
This is one of the main reasons why Christianity fails in so many Nations.
Who ever said, "Every stinking church must must go on for Eternity or until Jesus comes?"
By history we can easily see that most churches are functional during their time of revival and then until they finish serving a community.
If you were to take the Lutheran, the Methodist, or most any other main denomination they all served a much needed and important ministry for a short time. Then as happens to most, "Tradition," soon overtakes them and they make the "word of God," of no effect.
Could someone please do a study or Poll and get back to me, as to how many individuals in these hundred year old mammoth denominations actually become "Born Again?"
The Bible plainly teaches that unless a man be "Born Again," he will not see the "Kingdom of God."
Just to note, the "Kingdom of God," which Jesus referred to is heaven.
Heaven, "Born Again.
Heaven- "Born Again."
Heaven- "Born Again."
Jesus wasn't "speaking in parables here."
AI Overview
The scripture is John 3:3, where Jesus tells Nicodemus, "Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again". This famous exchange is found in the Gospel of John, chapter 3, in the New Testament.
Location: John 3:3, in the Gospel of John.
Context: Jesus says this in a conversation with Nicodemus, a Pharisee.
Full verse: The full verse, from the New International Version (NIV), reads: "Jesus replied, "Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again".
**********************************************
Jesus talked about making the "word of God," of no effect, and that is what happens to many old denominations and their churches, as well, as some recent Charismatic or Pentecostal churches or Streams.
Now please, do not go out and say that "John, stated that all denominations and old churches are useless."
A church is what the people make of it. Unfortunately, without the moving of the Holy Spirit, it is difficult to renew a church with life.
I am just making a point that is shown throughout history.
Many churches end up becoming totally useless, and they draw the ignorant into them through tradition when those "religious," ought to be in a thriving and acting church which emulates the "body of Christ."
The Body of Christ, is a body with the blood of Christ moving all through it's parts. It is not a dead, boring and same old, same old, typical building structure which bans "little Johnny," from 'speaking.'
Tonight, the preacher referred to the "Vineyard," as a failed church.
Well, could I ask you a question?
"Do you know what God's plan and purpose was for the "Vineyard," church?"
What if God's plan for the Vineyard Church was to use it to spread the "FIRE," of Revival all over the Earth and to bring a better understanding of the 'gifting s,' of the Holy Spirit?
From my understanding John Wimber brought hundreds of thousands if not millions into the "kingdom of God."
No, not into a brick and mortar building made of stone or brick.
What if the "Vineyard Church," had done everything that God had commissioned it to do. Again, where is it written that every church has to go on perpetually until the Lord comes?
Can you imagine thinking that about "Wesley, Whitefield, Spurgeon" or any hundreds of other Saints?
"Well, they were pretty good Evangelist's but then they died and 'shipwrecked,' their life's work."
"Sad bunch of losers,"
Nevertheless, I don't think that God is done with the "Vineyard," as they are flourishing all over Europe and beyond according to my understanding.
I think the confusion that you are showing is perhaps what I have sensed, as well. I don't believe that in America there is any church which has succeeded in the last four decades.
Maybe a few financially, but in terms of the "Kingdom of God," that is not succeeding.
I have stated a number of times how that I have made it a practice of visiting all kinds of Churches, Streams, Mega Churches, Revivals, in America, and I have yet to walk in a Calvary Cathedral and not been asked to refrain from "speaking silently to myself," in tongues.
I have been told that Calvary Chapels do not allow the use of tongues or spiritual gifts among their congregations, per order of Chuck Smith.
So, let me say that, "I am not trying to correct you, I am not trying to convince you to change any policies, but I am just trying to express my opinion on the observations in which you publicly broadcast all over the Nation concerning the "Vineyard Church," and other matters dealing with the "gifts of the Holy Spirit."
It always amazes me that the most sound theological experts concerning the Holy Spirit's gifts are those who haven't spent a lifetime operating in them or have never experienced them?
Don't you find that odd?
I do!
Lastly, let me add that I was thoroughly impressed with the first speaker of the night from Atlanta, therefore, I would in no way suggest that a number of you are not filled with the Holy Ghost.
Personally, I thought it was one of the best sermons that I have heard in a long time. It reminded me of Oral Robert's when I use to listen to him preach.

Postscript;
Lastly, let me add, when I think of a "lukewarm church," the definition that comes to mind, would be a church which would want the Holy Spirit to be in their midst, yet none of it's manifestations, lest it be the "one," in control of the spirituality of it's life force.
Revelation 3:16 New American Standard Bible
16 So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will vomit you out of My mouth.

Yes, there are ways to estimate how many people have left churches, with some studies suggesting around 40 million Americans have left in the past 25 years, while other data points to significant declines in overall church membership and regular attendance over the last fifteen years. While a precise number is difficult to determine due to varying methodologies, trends indicate a substantial decline, particularly among younger generations, and consistent drops in overall church membership across the country.
(Above is an estimate of how many people have left our 'successful,' churches in the last twenty five years.)
